He is going on tour, and it´s a bit hard to part with him. Silly but true. He will be looking cute in exhibitions around the world before he makes he’s way back to the studio.

You might have spotted this little doll already, The Sweetheart Doll is proving to be very popular. She appears on the cover of the upcoming book and is already available as a kit.
We say “she” but this could just as well be a boy doll. The little hair buns are of course optional.
A large head on a smaller body with tiny arms and legs, who can resist that…
The doll kits are flying off the shelves and we are delighted that she is so well liked. The kit contains everything you need to make a doll except filling and rouge for rosy cheeks.
Some of our Nordic costumes have asked why the Tilda range is no longer available in the Panduro Catalogue.
Well, Tilda has for a few years had a catalogue of her own and the Tilda catalogue is now presented alongside the Panduro catalogue on Panduro’s web site.
Here you will find the news and all available Tilda products.
To get information and prices in your language and currency go to Panduro.com and choose your country. In most countries you will find the Tilda catalogue under “Browse catalogue”.

If you like to sketch and draw, or write down your thoughts and dreams you can do it in the sweet new notebooks that are available in the Tilda range this autumn.
They come in packs of three in two different sizes.
You can decorate your notebooks with matching paper decor, Adhesive Fabric Paper or Fabric Tape to make wonderful useful gifts.
In the Autumn Tree series you will also find matching pencils with flowers and spots.

The Norwegian version of the new book finally arrived! It’s always exiting to see the fruit of so much work and fun, and we just love it!
It has turned out really sweet, full of ideas for kids and kids rooms of course, and a must have for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and anyone that enjoys to create for kids.

This autumn we have more sweet cotton ribbon with, spots, flowers, and our favorite the forrest design with rabbits, ducks and deer.
Forrest motives are always cozy when it comes to wrapping Christmas gifts, and the same motive is available as gift wrap.
This season is full of ideas for children but as many of you know there are a lot of Christmas ideas in Tilda’s world.

The studio is busy as we are working on releasing the new collections for spring, while being knee deep in snow as soon as we go out the door… Days are short, the dark comes at 4 pm here, but the studio is light and buzzing with spring colours. Her is a little sneak peek of what’s coming real soon.

One very creative woman that we have followed for years is Torie Jane. Her blog is always full of fresh ideas for home, baking, paper craft and sewing all in soothing and fresh pastels, with a hint of retro.
We are terribly exited when she uses or writes about our collections.
It’s always existing to see whats new and her blog is a great place to go for Easter inspiration.

A few costumers have asked us about the Patchwork Balls in the pictures. These are actually our new Paper Piece products this spring. The packages contain paper piece shapes that you cover with fabric using the Tilda Paper Piece glue pen. You can then easily sew perfect patchwork balls by hand.
There are two different packages, one with balls made of pentagon shapes, and one with balls made of biconvex shapes.
Each package come with explanations and paper pieces for 16- 20 balls in two sizes.
All you need in addition to the paper pieces and glue are some leftover fabrics, good hand sewing thread, a needle and some stuffing.
Patchwork balls look lovely just lying in a bowl or on a platter, squeeze one into a porcelain cup and you have a nice needle cushion.
They also make cute toys, you can easily put a round bell in with the stuffing to make them jingle.
It’s not easy to take simple beautiful and informative pictures of fabric. And we love these pretty pictures of the spring collections by Sündenherz.de. We just had to borrow them for the blog.
It’s always fun to combine fabric in different ways from both collections to make a perfect color scheme for a project. Greens from the Pardon My Garden Collection with the pinks and off whites from The Spring Diaries collection gives you a classic spring/summer color combination as seen here. By just using the honey colours, pink and off whites from Spring Diaries you get a much calmer look than with the teal colored fabrics. Nothing is more comforting and safe than warm colors and pinks.
